Race Expo And Packet Pick-Up
How It will Work this Year:
This year, Packet Pick-Up will be done in a drive-through style! You’ll have three days to pick up: Sunday, Monday or Tuesday, April 18th – 20th. Our changes were made as we continue to follow state and local health and safety protocols.
You can pick-up anytime between 11 AM-7PM on one of those days at Slugger Field’s Parking Lot (401 E. Main Street).
Once you arrive, you will be directed into one of our pickup lanes. At the first stop, you will receive all of your race materials, including your race bib, official finisher’s shirt and other swag bag. Next, you will be directed into lanes to pick up or purchase race gear.
Miss Packet Pick-Up this year?
Not to worry! We will have morning-of packet pickup for Out-of-Town runners and others who need it this year this year only.
Please plan to get there 15 minutes before your corral instead of 5, and head to the Runner “Check-In” Tent near the starting line on Cabel Street.
All you need to bring is the QR code found at the bottom of any April RunSignUp email, to make the check-in process extra speedy.
What to bring with you:
- A copy of the Registration QR code (found at the bottom of any April RunSignUp Email from us)
- A photo ID and your race registration number
Virtual Runners DO NOT need to pickup their packets, they will be mailed.
When is Packet Pickup?
Packet Pick Up will be Sunday, April 18th through Tuesday, April 20th from 11am – 7pm each day.
Where will Packet Pickup be?
This year, Packet Pick Up will be held at Slugger Field’s parking lot, located at 401 E Main St. Louisville, KY 40202.
Can I come any time or day I want?
Yes, we will not be requiring runners to reserve a time, so you are free to come whenever works best for you between 11 AM – 7 PM on Sunday, April 18th through Tuesday, April 20th.
Do I need to be in a specific lane to get my bib?
No, this year we will be using dynamic bibs. This means that your bib will be assigned and printed at the time of pickup. This will save time, and make things similar.
What do I need to bring with me?
Make sure to bring a copy of the Registration QR code provided at the bottom of any April emails from RunSignUp. You can print this, or just bring it up on your phone.
Can I get out of my car?
For the majority of the time, runners must remain in their car. If they are picking up or purchasing race gear, there will be a designated section in which they will be able to park and shop. Runners may not get out of their vehicles until they reach this area.
How can I pick up the race gear I purchased?
Runners can pick up their race gear at packet pick up. You will be directed into a combined swag and gear lane, where you will be able to park and pick your gear up.
Will I be able to shop race gear at packet pickup?
Yes! We will have a safe and socially distanced shopping experience at Packet Pickup. Runners will be able to park and shop in the designated area. Masks must be worn at all times.
What if I need to pick up for multiple people?
Runners will still be able to pick up multiple packets at a time, as in past years. You will need to have a picture of a photo id or registration number for the person you are picking up for. In order to keep the line moving, you may be asked to pull into a parking spot. Our volunteers will direct you to move forward or pull in as needed.
